Club History: The Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club has been sharing its beauty with the public since it opened in 1986. Thirteen years later, The Roberts family purchased the property and spent two years creating and beautifying the 1,200 acre land. The awe-inspiring 77,000 square foot club house, spa and fitness center have been dazzling its visitors ever since it reopened in 2002. The 18-hole golf course, designed by Ron Garl, has also been stealing the attention of guests by featuring holes modeled after famous golf courses such as Augusta National, St. Andrews and Baltusrol, mixed in with ten originally designed holes.

The Coates Golf Championship takes place on the stunning grounds of Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club, a venue that blends world-class competition with breathtaking natural beauty.
