The inaugural Coates Golf Championship presented by R+L Carriers’ Gala was held this evening at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club in Ocala, Fla. John Travolta, Kelly Preston and Morgan Pressel served as honorary co-chairs for the invitation-only event. At the Gala, Coates Golf presented $50,000 to both The Jett Travolta Foundation and The Morgan Pressel Foundation. The evening marked the start of the inaugural Coates Golf Championship presented by R+L Carriers as well as the LPGA season, with guests including LPGA professionals, top sponsors, VIPs and Pro-Am participants.

The Coates Golf Championship presented by R+L Carriers tournament week will officially begin tomorrow. Admissions gates for general spectators will open at 7a.m. Official tournament play will kick off Wednesday, January 28 and continue through Saturday, January 31 at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club.
